What is the average cost of a standard shower remodel?
A standard shower remodel typically costs $16,000–$20,000 with Husband & Wife Design & Build. This is a general planning range, not a fixed quote. Every project is different, and the final price depends on the scope of work, existing conditions and material selections. Contact us for a project-specific estimate.
What should I include when requesting a consultation?

How is a remodeling estimate prepared?
The starting point is the work you want included: the rooms, layout changes, finish preferences and property conditions. A project-specific written scope and estimate clarify the proposed work. Ask which materials, labor, allowances and other items are included, and resolve those details before agreeing to proceed.
How long will my remodel take?
There is no single timeline that applies to every project. The scope, property conditions, selections, material availability and any required reviews affect planning and construction. Discuss your preferred timeframe during the consultation; the project schedule should be based on the agreed work rather than a promise made from a photograph alone.
Can you help me plan the layout and finishes?
Share what works and what does not work in your current space, along with reference photos and your priorities. We can discuss layout and finish options as part of planning your project. Confirm the specific design services and deliverables included in your written agreement.
Can I convert my garage or build an ADU?
Garage conversions and other ADU ideas need a property-specific review. Tell us whether you are considering an existing garage conversion, a detached unit or another arrangement. The available space, existing structure, utilities and applicable local requirements must be considered before a suitable scope, budget and schedule can be established. Learn about our ADU services.
Can I see before-and-after examples?
Yes. Our project portfolio includes kitchen and bathroom projects by city, real photographs and Long Beach bathroom before-and-after videos. Do you offer financing information?
The home page includes an option to explore financing through an external provider. Review the provider’s current terms and eligibility requirements directly. Availability and approval are determined by the provider; financing is not a guaranteed part of a remodeling estimate.
